The Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education recently announced that Green Hills Community Action Agency will be the provider of AEL/GED services for the area.

Class sites are planned for Bethany, Brookfield, Chillicothe, Milan and Trenton. Tim Rockhold will serve as AEL/GED Director for the program. Interested persons who are unable to travel to a site may enroll in GED online classes. North Central Missouri College, the previous provider of AEL/GED, is working closely with CAA for a seamless transition.
Throughout the 450-year history of CAA, education has been at the roots of many of its programs. The mission of the agency is to build vibrant communities. Many of the services offered by the agency help area residents to obtain skills to get jobs, more stable employment, improve their lives, and build confidence.
