Motivatonal Speaker At NCMC
One presentation, called “Secrets to Your Own Success,” is set for 9:30 a.m. in Cross Hall and will be tailored to college students. The other, entitled “How to Fly with the Eagles in a World Full of Ducks,” is scheduled for 6 p.m. in the Ketcham Community Center and is free and open to the public. The evening session is geared toward business/community leaders and anyone who wants to learn how to be more successful in life endeavors.
Edwards is a lifelong entrepreneur from Clemson, SC. He is the owner of The Amazing Factor, a motivational speaking and training company, as well as a multimillion-dollar holding company of newspapers, radio stations, shopping centers and office parks. According to promoters, he has come from the trenches and has a solid understanding and appreciation for both the highs and lows of the business world. His mission is to show people how to identify the issues that hold them back and take action to change their lives, through the use of storytelling and humor. He has just recently published his first book, “Who’s in Charge of You? Answer That And Change Everything” and will conduct book signings at each event.
Several NCMC student organizations (Student Senate, Phi Theta Kappa National Honor Society, and the Student Ambassadors) are hosting Edwards’ visit.
