Several offices and businesses have announced their plans to close on Monday, Sept. 5 in observance of the Labor Day holiday.

Closed on Monday will be the Grundy County Courthouse, Trenton City Hall/TMU, the Trenton Area Chamber of Commerce/License Bureau, the Grundy County Family Support and Children’s Division, the Grundy County Health Department, the Grundy County Prosecuting Attorney, North Missouri Children’s Advocacy Center, Green Hills Regional Planning Commission, Green Hills Community Action Agency, Grundy County-Jewett Norris Library, KCP&L, Grundy Electric Cooperative, Public Water Supply Districts of Grundy and Livingston counties, Farmers State Bank, Farmers Bank of Northern Missouri, US Bank, Citizens Bank and Trust, Shelter Insurance-Stan Lowrey and Farmers Mutual Insurance/Robbins and Black Agency.
The Trenton Post Office will be closed on Monday and there will be no mail delivery or box mail. Offices will also be closed at North Central Missouri College and there will be no classes at NCMC or in the Trenton R-9 School District.
The Trenton Republican-Times will be closed on Monday and a newspaper will not be published. Persons wanting to leave alumni information may put in between the front doors of the foyer area or e-mail it to the newspaper at [email protected].
