North Central Missouri College will dedicate its Barton Farm Campus on Friday.

The public is invited to attend any or all of the festivities at the Barton Farm Campus, 96 SE 8th Ave., just south of Wright Memorial Hospital on Iowa Boulevard. Festivities will begin with a pancake breakfast at 8:30 a.m. inside the Metcalf Mechanical Resource Center. The dedication ceremony will begin at 10 a.m., also in the Metcalf building.
Featured speakers will include State Sen. Brad Lager and Dr. Jon Hagler, Director of Missouri Department of Agriculture, as well as College President Dr. Neil Nuttall, two NCMC agriculture students and representatives of state and federal agricultural and educational agencies.
The Trenton Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors will lead a ribbon cutting ceremony following the dedication and the festivities will conclude with tours of the Barton Farm Campus, including the Metcalf building, Lager Laboratory of Plant and Energy Science, the Whan Family Greenhouse, the wind turbine and the animal science complex site.
People attending the dedication are asked to park in the south or east parking lots of Wright Memorial Hospital and ride the college’s shuttle bus, which will be operating throughout the morning. Parking also will be available along the west side of Iowa Boulevard and there will be limited parking at the Barton Farm Campus.
