The North Central Missouri Fair came to a close over the weekend with livestock judging, ATV races and a horse show among the final events held.

Horse Show
The horse show was held at the North Missouri Saddle Club grounds on Saturday with competition in three age groups. Winners of the high-point individual awards were Caitlyn Vehling, 14 and over; Sadie Watson, 11 to 13; and Olivia Spurlin, 8 to 10.

Beef Show
There were 74 head of cattle entered in the beef show on Saturday. There were also nine entered in the pee wee show and five in the bucket calf show.
Bill Jennings of Bethany had the grand champion and reserve champion market animal. Rachelle Parks of Trenton exhibited the supreme champion bull while Franklin Goforth of Savannah had the reserve champion bull. The supreme champion female belonged to Kathryn Goforth of Savannah and Tanner Hudson of Trenton showed the reserve champion female.
Earning showmanship honors were Maggie LaPorta of Shawnee, KS, 8 to 10; Emma Clark of Milan, 11 to 14; and Franklin Goforth, 15 and over.

Sheep Show
Champions were selected in the sheep show Friday afternoon.
Earning showmanship honors were Jacey Cook of Hamilton in the junior division, while Huston Sprinkle of Trenton took top honors in the intermediate division. Senior showmanship honors went to Bailey Prichard of Princeton.
Kyla Payne of Jamesport exhibited both the supreme champion ram, a Hampshire, and the supreme champion market lamb, also a Hampshire. Tanner Hudson of Trenton exhibited the supreme champion ewe, a Crossbred.
Huston Sprinkle was a three-time winner at the show. In addition to his showmanship award, he exhibited the reserve champion ewe, a Dorset, and the reserve champion ram, also a Dorset. Bailey Prichard exhibited the reserve champion market lamb.
