The Missouri Department of Transportation has announced that road work has been scheduled for Highway 136 in Mercer County on Thursday, Aug. 4, weather permitting.

Area maintenance crews will be making pavement repairs on Highway 136 beginning at Highway 65 continuing west to West Muddy Creek. The road will be narrowed to one lane around the work zone. The work is scheduled to take one day to complete.
