Oak Leaf Achievers 4-H Club met on Tuesday, July 12 at 551 NW 5th Ave. at Trenton. The meeting was called to order by vice president Ilana Raymo.

The pledges to the U.S. flag and the 4-H flag were led by Riley Raymo. Ten members, seven leaders and two guests were in attendance. Special guests included Michael Bummer and Michaela Ishmael.
Jeff Jarrett reported that 38 kids and five adults made the attended the 4-H float trip. They rafted a river south of Columbia along Highway 63. Laura Carlson told about her 4-H cmp experience at Crowder State Park in June.
Camping activies in the MacIntosh Forest in Iowa and saving an orphan bird there were shared by Rachel MacIntosh and her mother. Elizabeth Jarrett reported on her demonstration experience that she presented to a farm family ladies club.
The grop discussed a fair float and further committee meetings to prepare one were scheduled. Achievement Day will be held on Aug. 1 as part of the North Central Missouri Fair.
The August meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 23.
