City of Trenton department heads, along with members of the Trenton City Council, Board of Public Works and Park Board, got their first glance at a wage classification study recently completed by a Kansas City firm during a meeting on Thursday night at city hall.

City Clerk Cindy Simpson said around 27 persons attended the meeting and heard a report from Diane Doran of Bartleby and Associates of Kansas City concerning the city’s wage structure and how it compares to other communities near the size of Trenton. A final copy of the report has not been distributed and Mrs. Simpson said a review of the report is still being made. It is not listed on the city council meeting agenda for discussion on Monday night.
