Because of the weekend storm, the city brush dump will be open extended hours during the first part of the week.

The brush dump, located near the City Maintenance Building, will be open until 7 o’clock this evening as well as on Tuesday and Wednesday nights. Hours will go back to 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Thursday and Friday and then be closed over the weekend due to the July 4 holiday. Regular hours will be observed next week and the brush dump will also be open on Saturday, July 11 from 9 to 11 a.m.
