The Trenton Trap/Skeet range in north Trenton is forming a new skeet league. The league will be comprised of three-person teams that shoot 50 targets every two weeks. The league will be handicapped and will be geared toward generating interest in skeet for future events.

There is no money involved in the league, just bragging rights, and beginners are welcome. There will be a 50-target shoot on July 3 to establish handicaps for league shooters. The league will use a system where shooters can shoot ahead and store rounds in a “bank account” to use on weeks they are unable to attend. The first league rounds will be due on July 17. The league will run through Sept. 25 with a total of six rounds making up the league.
