Stacy Imgarten vs. Director of Revenue. A case for reinstating driving privileges was dismissed.
Sharon Pennington, 57, 120 Highland St., had her probation revoked and was ordered to serve 10 years in the Department of Corrections. She was originally charged with distributing, delivering, manufacturing or producing a controlled substance.
Phillip Bess, 45, Galt, had his case set for jury trial on Oct. 18. Bess’s charges include first degree burglary and resisting arrest.
Lauren Weaver, 20, 911 Kumler St., pleaded guilty to passing bad checks and will be sentenced on Aug. 11.
Michel White, 57, Galt, had his probation continued for operating a motor vehicle while his license was revoked.
Wanda Petrie, 55, 302 E 10th Ct., pleaded guilty to second degree burglary and will be sentenced on July 14.
Kailah Willcuts, 22, 602 W Crowder St., pleaded not guilty to possession of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana. She is to appear in court on July 14 for trial-setting.
Randall Morse, 29, Lineville, IA, was sentenced to four years in the Department of Corrections for passing bad checks. Sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for five years.
Kevin Berry, 28, 1800 Lincoln St., pleaded not guilty to passing bad checks. He is to appear in court on July 14 for a trial-setting.
Richard Houk, 40, 302 E 10th Ct., pleaded guilty to second degree burglary and will be sentenced on July 14.
Kristopher Taylor, 26, 1610 Mable St. pleaded guilty to unlawful use of drug paraphernalia and endangering the welfare of a child. Sentencing was suspended and he was placed on supervised probation for two years. Taylor also pleaded guilty to distributing, delivering, manufacturing or producing a controlled substance. Sentencing was suspended and he was placed on probation for five years and ordered to successfully complete the Third Circuit drug program. He was also ordered to forfeit $612 to the state under the Criminal Activity Forfeiture Act.
Joseph Kincaid, 26, 403 W. 15th St., pleaded guilty to operating a motor vehicle on a highway with out a valid licence, his third such offense and also pleaded guilty to theft/stealing in the amount of less than $500. He will be sentenced on Aug. 11.
Kevin Baker, 47, Hale, pleaded guilty to second degree burglary and aggravated stalking. He was sentenced to six years in the Department of Corrections and the court retains jurisdiction for 120 days. He was to be placed in shock incarceration. Baker also pleaded guilty to violation of a protection order and was sentenced to 60 days in the Grundy County Detention Center. He was given credit for time already served.
Patrick Michael, 38, 71216 Forest Dr., had his trial, involving charges of excessive blood-alcohol content, operating a motor vehicle on the highway without a valid licence and possession of up to 35 grams of marijuana, set aside. Motions will be heard on Aug. 12.
Elizabeth Hendricks, 43, Marceline, had her probation revoked on a charge of attempting to deliver a controlled substance at a correctional facility. She was sentenced to six years in the Department of Corrections. The sentence was suspended and she was placed on supervised probation for five years. On a charge of possession of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana, she was given a suspended sentence of six years with the Department of Corrections and placed on probation for five years and ordered to serve two days of shock time. On a charge of unlawful use of drug paraphernalia she was sentenced to four years in the Department of Corrections. The sentence was suspended and she was placed on supervised probation for five years and ordered to serve two days of shock incarceration. The probations and shock times are to run concurrently.
Mac Rakes, 53, 676 NE 18th Ave., pleaded guilty to unlawful use of a firearm. He received a five-year suspended sentence and five years of probation and must submit to a sex offender evaluation. He also pleaded guilty to possession of up to 35 grams of marijuana and received a suspended sentence of two years and was placed on supervised probation for two years. He also had a charge of failure to register as a sex offender dismissed.
