The Livingston County R-3 Board of Education met on Tuesday night at the school in Chula, taking care of several items.

According to information provided by the school, preschool fees for the 2011-2012 school year were set at $125 per month for students eligible for full-priced meals and $100 per month for students eligible for free or reduced-priced meals. These are the same fees as last year.
The 2011-2012 budget was approved with revenues exceeding expenditures by just over $10,000. Revenues are projected at $1,114,940 while expenditures were listed at $1,103,100. The 2010-2011 budget was amended to reflect actual revenues and expenditures for the year.
Policies concerning allergy prevention and response and seclusion, isolation and restraint of students. A policy on medication administration was amended. A thank you note was read from an instructor, expressing their appreciation of gifts received during the teacher appreciation week activities.
Two executive sessions were held, with no announcement made. The next regular board meeting will be on Tuesday, July 12.
