Trenton Bandits’ Season Comes To Close

The Trenton Little League Bandits (9-10-year-olds) saw their season come to a close Tuesday night in Bethany as they were ousted in the second round of the league tournament by Princeton A, 12-4, at Memorial Park in Bethany.

The loss to the Princeton squad gave the Bandits a final record of 4-6 for the season with one rainout. They finished sixth in the 10-team league’s standings.
An awards banquet for the Bandits will be held on Saturday, June 25 at the Upper Moberly Park shelterhouse in Trenton. The banquet is set to begin at 1 p.m.
The Trenton Little League Outlaws (13-16-year-olds) saw their scheduled game with Princeton rained out Tuesday night. The game will be made up tonight at Burleigh Grimes Field in Trenton and the first pitch is once again scheduled for 7 o’clock.
