The Princeton Chamber of Commerce met June 1 at Breadeaux Pizza with seven members present.

Letters have been sent out for the tractor cruise, which will be held the Friday before Calamity Jane Day. Registration is due by Aug. 1 to Rhonda Watkins. T-shirts will be given to each registered participant. The cruise will re-enter the square on Friday afternoon and homemade ice cream will be for sale to the public as the tractors are viewed. It was decided that Chamber will have a different T-shirt for sale for Calamity Jane Day with a theme of honoring the American farmer. A volunteer is still being sought to head up the trail ride
The chamber purchased 10 new Christmas decorations for pole lights on 136 at the cost of $1,750. It was decided to buy new bows for the greenery for the poles around the square.
The citywide garage sale was reported to be a success and another is being planned.
The July 4th Celebration will be held at the school on Sunday, July 3. Glen Kirby will be in charge of fireworks. The chamber will serve free watermelon. There will be local music and entertainment, including dancers from Stephanie’s Dance Studio
Saturday Night Live will be held on June 16 as a benefit for the wounded warrior project. There will be a band, food for sale and pie auction.
