KCC Announces Fitness Classes

Lisa Schilling, fitness director at the Ketcham Community Center on the campus of North Central Missouri College in Trenton, has announced the schedule of fitness classes for the month of June.

All classes, unless otherwise noted, are approximately one hour long. Pre-registration is not required. The first class is free and additional classes can be paid for with the use of a fitness punch card. Fitness cards are available at the KCC front desk.
Yoga Stretch ACES (Active Chair Exercise Sequence) is taught Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11 a.m., and a special 30-minute ACES is taught on Mondays and Wednesdays at noon. An Arthritis Foundation Exercise Program is Mondays and Wednesdays at 11 a.m.
Boot Camp (an intense full-body workout) is Tuesday and Thursday at 5 p.m., Practical Yoga is Monday at 5 p.m. and Zumba (Latin and Salsa dance) is Monday and Thursday at 6 p.m.
A special Tai Chi Circle class is free and open to all. It is on Wednesdays at 12:30 p.m. and lasts about 30 minutes. Tai Chi is perfect for any fitness level and focuses on slow and deliberate exercise sequences.
All classes are taught by certified instructors.
