Caleb Douglas Rockhold, a 32-year-old resident of rural Clio, IA, died on Saturday, May 14, 2011 at his home.

Memorial services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, May 20, 2011, at the Lineville, IA, Assembly of God Church with Pastors Wilburn Bennett and Aaron Stark officiating, under the direction of the Greenlee-Middleton Funeral Service of Lineville. Inurnment of the cremains will be in the Evergreen Cemetery in Lineville at a later date.
Mr. Rockhold was born on March 20, 1979, the son of Jerry Dean Rockhold Jr. and Linda Marie Lowrey. He was a 1997 graduate of the Lineville-Clio High School and received an associate of arts degree in drafting from Vatterott College of St. Joseph. He worked as a surveyor for the Trans-Systems Company of Kansas City and later worked as the bookkeeper for the MFA Exchange of Corydon, IA.
He enjoyed gardening, fishing, cooking and barbecuing.
Mr. Rockhold is survived by his mother, Linda M. Lowrey and her companion, Don West of Princeton; his father Junior Rockhold of Creston, IA; his paternal grandmother, Betty Rockhold, of Lineville; his sister, Lacey Marie Rockhold and her companion, Brandon of Macon; a step-brother, Chad Barker and his wife, Sherri of Lineville; and by nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and many very close friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Jerry Rockhold; his maternal grandparents, Bill and Jane Lowrey; and by an uncle, Douglas Rockhold.
