The North Central Missouri College Pirates baseball team opened play in the Region 16 Tournament at Wilson Rozier Field in Farmington. The Pirates opened against Crowder Community College and fell, 13-3.

NCMC had three runs on eight hits and one Crowder error. Crowder scored 13 runs on 17 hits and three Pirate errors. Trevor Jones was the losing pitcher for NCMC, falling to 2-4 on the year. The Pirates, now 14-40, played Maple Woods Community College in the loser’s bracket today at 1 p.m. in Farmington.
