The University of Missouri Extension Council of Grundy County is celebrating Extension Day this year on Tuesday, May 10, at the courthouse in Trenton.

An open house will be held from 10 a.m. until noon with the extension council furnishing refreshments. Housing and Environmental Design Specialist Connie Neal, who was recently assigned to the Grundy County office, will be present to answer questions in weatherization, renovation, air quality or any housing issues. Extension horticulture specialist Tim Baker will be present to answer gardening questions and Lisa Delameter, 4-H youth development program assistant, will provide information about 4-H and how to enroll a child in the organization.
