Spickard R-2 Superintendent Mike Garrett has announced several upcoming activities as well as employment of new personnel for the coming school year.

The school is going to attend an assembly at the Pleasant View R-6 School on Tuesday, May 3, not on May 4 as originally had been announced. The spring musical will be at 7 p.m. on Monday, May 9 and Science Night will be on Tuesday, May 17 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Graduation is at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, May 20.
Susan Hashman has been named the new third and fourth grade teacher at Spickard. The new special education teacher will be Emily Voorhies.
