Summer school application forms have been sent home with eligible students. School officials ask for all students to return the form whether they plan to attend or not. Simply write the student’s name and “NO” on the application if you do not plan to attend. Application forms should be returned to any school office by April 25.
The district is hoping to provide breakfast, lunch, and transportation free of charge and is awaiting approval for those programs. Curriculum will be developed in-house with an emphasis on specific core skills students need to build. Since the district is not working with Newton Learning, the $100 perfect attendance incentive will not be offered. However, smaller incentives will be offered during the course of the program.
Persons with questions, can call Jamie Oram at Trenton Middle School, 359-4328.
