The Grundy County Horsemanship 4-H Club met on April 17 at the North Missouri Saddle Club grounds with eight members, six leaders and one guest present.

Kori Grogran presided at the meeting. The pledges to the U.S. and 4-H flags were led by Jeremy Elliott and Hannah Persell. Roll call was answered with each person telling their favorite fun show game.
It was announced the senior horse judging team placed ninth at state and the junior team was eighth. Six members participated at Contest Day with two members getting to do their demonstrations at the State Fair and one member is going to Interstate.
The 4-H Horse Show date was given and horse enrollment forms are due to the club leader by April 22. The “horse extravaganza” and horse clinic will be held on May 14 at Trenton, starting at 9 a.m.. It was announced the 4-H and saddle clubs will work each other’s concession stand to free up people needed to help with children. The 4-H Club will have the cookshack on June 11 for the Green Hills Circuit Show.

The next meeting will be on May 14 after the extravaganza and fun show.
