The Lyric Arts will be performing in Chillicothe on Sunday, April 17 as part of the Chillicothe Area Arts Council program.

Lyric Arts is a group comprised of a soprano, pianist and clarinetist and will be presenting the program, “American Voices,” which includes the music of Stephen Foster, Aaron Copeland, George Gershwin and Cole Porter along with selections from “West Side Story.” The program was developed to celebrate the 150th birthday of the state of Kansas.
The show will be at 3 p.m. at the First Baptist Church. In addition to the Lyric Arts, winners of the Youth Talent contest will also be performing.
