Greg and Rose Marie Batson of Poplar Bluff and Les and Lora Jackson of Galt announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their children, Meagan Batson of Cape Girardeau and Logan Jackson of Kirksville.
The bride-to-be is a 2005 graduate of Poplar Bluff High School and a 2009 graduate of Truman State University in Kirksville with an registered nursing degree. She is currently employed at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
The groom-to-be is a 2007 graduate of Grundy R-5 High School in Galt and will graduate in May from Truman State University with a degree in communications. He is also the grandson of Bill and Judy Jackson and Boo and Betty Peterie.
The couple will be married at 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 28, 2011 at the First United Methodist Church in Poplar Bluff. A reception is planned in July at the Galt Christian Church to honor the couple.
