Pleasant View, Laredo Split

The Pleasant View R-6-Laredo R-7 rivalry was renewed on the court on Tuesday night in a pair of fifth and sixth grade games. Laredo came to town and the result was a split as the Lady Tigers took the girls game 20-8 and the Blue Jays took the boys game, 24-8.

In the girls game, Laredo was led by 12 points from Mariah Fox while Samantha Kaster’s six points paced Pleasant View. In the boys game it was Eddie Delp and Seth Reeter scoring 10 points each for Pleasant View and Austin Eckert leading Laredo with four points.
Pleasant View’s fifth and sixth grade teams will return to the court on Thursday as they travel to Jamesport to face off in a doubleheader with Tri-County.
