Robert “Bob” Richards, a 71-year-old Trenton resident, died at 9:05 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 28, 2011 at the Sunnyview Nursing Home in Trenton while under hospice care. The body was cremated.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 6, 2011 at the Whitaker-Eads Funeral Home in Trenton. Pastor Gene Wilson will officiate.
Mr. Richards was born on Oct. 15, 1939 in Cohassett, MA, the son of Walter Lyman and Charlotte Almeida Richards. He served in the U.S. Army. He was married to Roberta Koehler on Sept. 28, 1991 in Mad River, CA. He worked in the home health care industry and owned a salvage yard.
He is survived by his wife, Roberta Richards of the home; two sons, Robert Richards and his wife, Kim of Glens Ferry, ID and John Richards of Paradise, CA; two step-sons, Norm Ramspeck and his wife, Shirley of Princeton and Berndt Ramspeck and his wife, Ann of Glens Ferry.
Mr. Richards was preceded in death by his parents and one step-son, Harold Ramspeck.
