There has been an increase in the number of flu cases in Missouri and Kansas and Elizabeth Gibson from the Grundy County Health Department said flu season can extend into April or May.
“So it’s never too late to get a shot,” she said.
Ms. Gibson said that this year, the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices recommends a flu shot for everyone over the age of 6 months.
