Voting for the Grundy County Extension Center Election will begin on Monday, March 7.

Ballots will be published in the Wednesday, March 2 edition of the Green Hills Weekly and the Friday, March 4 edition of the Trenton Republican-Times. Elections will be held in District I (Myers, Franklin, Washington, Taylor, Lincoln, Harrison and Liberty townships), District II (Trenton Township, including the city of Trenton) and District III (Madison, Jefferson, Jackson, Marion and Wilson townships). Two persons each are to be elected in District I and District III while three persons will be chosen in District II.
Candidates in District I are Kathi Brewer and Susanne Gilhuly. District II candidates are Don Altes, Lannie Harkins and Steve Maxey. The District III candidates include Kristi Urich and Trish Wendt.
Voting will take place from March 7 to March 11 in the extension office, located on the first floor of the Grundy County Courthouse. Ballots can be cast from 8:30 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m. on those days.
