Trenton Area Chamber of Commerce President Jordan Ferguson has resigned his position, effective on Tuesday, Feb. 22.

Ferguson is leaving the chamber to accept another position, which he said will be announced soon. Chamber Board Chairman Crystal Whitaker said the executive board has already begun the process of finding a replacement for Ferguson and is accepting applications for the position. The applications can be mailed to or left at the chamber office or can be mailed to Dr. Whitaker at [email protected]. Administrative Assistant Christy Farmer will assume the role of interim president until a permanent replacement is found.
Ferguson has been president of the chamber since June 2009, replacing previous president Terri Henderson.
