The search for the 2011 Distinguished Alumni of Trenton Junior College and North Central Missouri College is under way.

Once again the North Central Missouri College Foundation will recognize four or five alums who attended TJC or NCMC with formal announcement of their induction taking place at the annual college gala scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 8.
To nominate and alum (either a graduate or someone who attended classes at the local college), a nomination form must be completed and forwarded to the Office of Development on the NCMC campus. Nomination forms will also be available on the college website and in the next edition of the “College Alumni News.” All nominations will remain confidential as well as the individual responsible for making the nomination.
Alums do not have to reside in the immediate area and deceased alumni are not eligible for consideration at the time of recognition. Criteria for the selection of honorees in addition to attendance at TJC/NCMC include success in their chosen profession, support to the community college and this is not to be considered by the amount of financial contributions made to TJC/NCMC and finally, their involvement in their community including church, civic and family activities.
The deadline for submitting nominations is May 1.
