Rural Crime Summit Open To The Public

Area residents are invited to attend the Rural Crime Summit, which will be presented in March in St. Joseph.

The summit, set for March 17, will provide the rural residents of Northwest Missouri the latest crime prevention information, along with current crime trends and methods of operation.
The event, which is free and open to the public, will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Scottish Rite Temple, 515 N. Sixth St., in St. Joseph. Breakfast and lunch will be served. The summit is being presented by the Buchanan County Sheriff’s Department, featuring speakers from the Rural Crimes Unit of the Missouri State Highway Patrol and the National Insurance Crime Bureau.
