Trenton City Clerk Cindy Simpson said Thursday that Paul Bruinsma of 100 Country Club Pl., who was seeking the first ward councilman’s seat, has withdrawn his candidacy and his name will not appear on the April 5 Municipal Election ballot. Incumbent Jim Norris of 307 Seventh St., will face Brian Hamilton of 108 Country Club Pl., in the election.
