Princeton Lady Tigers Fall In Opening Round

The Princeton Lady Tigers finally got to see some action at the South Harrison Tournament on Wednesday night as they faced off with Cameron at the North Harrison High School in Eagleville. The Lady Tigers were able to keep the game close throughout the night, but just couldn’t quite get the job done as they fell 45-38.

Princeton was led by Cassie Teeter in the game. Teeter was the only Lady Tiger in double figures, finishing with 15 points. Danessa Derry was the Lady Tigers’ second-leading scorer in the contest, finishing with nine points.
The loss dropped the Lady Tigers to 4-6 on the season and places them in the consolation semifinals, where they will play eighth-seeded North Harrison tonight at 6 o’clock at the South Harrison High School in Bethany.
