Beginning on Wednesday and continuing through Monday, Jan. 31, the Republican-Times will be collecting information from local and area couples who have a romantic story they would like to share. Stories can be either about the couple which is submitting the information or about a couple they know (parents, friends, grandparents, etc).
Many of the stories will be included in the Friday, Feb. 11 edition of the newspaper, with the couple submitting the most interesting story being awarded a gift, courtesy of the R-T and merchants who are sponsoring the annual “Valentine’s Day Lovelines” special section on Monday, Feb. 14.
Stories can be brought into the newspaper office during business hours (7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday). They can also be mailed at the Republican-Times at PO Box 548, Trenton, MO 64683 or they can be e-mailed to the newspaper at [email protected].
All stories must contain the name of the person submitting the item, a telephone number where the person submitting the item can be reached and an address. Without that information, the stories will not be eligible for publication. Not all stories submitted will be published and the newspaper reserves the right to edit for length and clarity.
