“We came out and had a great first half,” Lady Mustangs’ Head Coach Susie Vandevender said. “In the second half they threw a box-and-one on Madison (Huston) and Briana (Hixson) and Hannah (Sweet) had the stomach flu and couldn’t quite finish the game strong. Hillarie Moore came in and did a great job on defense for us. She works hard and puts a lot of pressure on the ball.”
Tri-County, now 1-9 on the season, was led by nine points and six rebounds from Huston. Paiten Hamilton added eight points and five rebounds and Hixon had six points. Boys information was not available as of press time.
Tri-County is scheduled to play Southwest on Thursday.
