Josephine Johnson, an 82-year-old Trenton resident, died at 8:43 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 1, 2011 at the Sunnyview Nursing Home in Trenton.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 6, 2010 at Resthaven Mortuary, north of Trenton. Burial will be in the Campground Cemetery, east of Osgood.
A family visitation will be held one hour prior to service time.
Mrs. Johnson was born on July 21, 1928 in Butler, KS, the daughter of George Sanford and Stella Baldwin Raley. She was married to David Harding Johnson on Oct. 16, 1943 in Paola, KS. They lived most of their lives in the Osgood area. They attended the Tenth Street Baptist Church.
Mrs. Johnson is survived by her husband, Harding Johnson of Trenton; a son, Floyd Johnson and his wife, Sue of Trenton; nine grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Sharon Sampson; her sister; two brothers; two grandsons; and one granddaughter.
