John W. Copple, Jr., 36, Braymer, had $44 owed on charges of operating a motor vehicle in a careless and imprudent manner by driving onto the shoulder while turning left and operating a motor vehicle without a valid license converted to four days in the Grundy County Detention Center on each charge. He also had $538.50 owed on charges of driving while intoxicated and littering converted to 54 days in the GCDC.
Frank A. Tefft, 54, Princeton, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of having no valid operator’s license (the original charge was operating a motor vehicle while his driver’s license was revoked) and was fined $250.50 and $116.50 costs.
Cheryln N. Sutton, 16, St. Joseph, pleaded guilty to violating the provisions of an intermediate driver’s license (too many passengers) and was fined $25.50 and $58.50 costs.
Lonna M. Sizemore, 47, Spickard, pleaded guilty to operating a motor vehicle on the highway without a valid license and was fined $37.50 and $58.50 costs.
Enos L. Schrock, 61, 126 S.W. Birch Ln., pleaded guilty to driving to the left side of the roadway at or within 100 feet of an intersection and was fined $77.50 and $58.50 costs.
James R. Owen, Jr., 27, 1609 Bolser St., pleaded guilty to having no valid proof of insurance and not wearing a seat belt and was fined $27.50, $10 and $58.50 costs.
Gary L. Riddle, 39, Gladstone, pleaded guilty to operating a motor vehicle without a driver’s license and not wearing a seat belt and was fined $37.50, $10 and $58.50 costs.
DeeAnn K. Hughs, 41, Brimson, pleaded guilty to leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident and was fined $100 and $116.50 costs. She also pleaded guilty to failing to register a motor vehicle with the Director of Revenue and was fined $27.50 and $58.50 costs. She also pleaded guilty to not wearing a seat belt and was fined $10.
Rickie W. Chaney, 35, Gilman City, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of speeding and was fined $200 and $58.50 costs. He also pleaded guilty to an amended charge of misdemeanor driving while intoxicated (the original charge was a felony) and was sentenced to serve six months in the Grundy County Detention Center. Execution of the sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for two years, with the conditions that he complete the Drive to Survive Program and pay $300 to the Grundy County Law Enforcement Fund.
Jonathon A. McAtee, 25, 350 N.W. 68th Ave., pleaded guilty to an amended misdemeanor charge of driving without a valid license (the original charge was operating a motor vehicle on the highway without a valid license, a felony). Imposition of his sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for six months. He is to pay $116.50 costs and serve two days of shock time in the Grundy County Detention Center.
Kyle D. Sharp, 23, 86 S.W. 30th Ave., pleaded guilty, pursuant to a plea agreement, to driving while intoxicated (the original charge was second degree assault). Imposition of his sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for two years. He is to pay $214.50 costs and recoupment of funds and is to complete the SATOP and Drive to Survive programs. He is also to make restitution of $300 to the Grundy County Law Enforcement Fund. Charges of failing to drive on the right half of the roadway and not wearing a seat belt were dismissed.
Jade M. Mock, 23, 2414 Oklahoma Ave., pleaded guilty, pursuant to a plea agreement, to third degree assault, a misdemeanor (the original charge was second degree assault, a felony). Imposition of her sentence was suspended and she was placed on probation for one year. She is also to pay $116.50 costs, complete 20 hours of community service and complete an anger management class.
Shon D. Wallis, 31, Glenwood, IA, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of misdemeanor driving while intoxicated (the original charge was a felony) and was sentenced to serve 15 days in the Grundy County Detention Center. He is to pay $214 costs and recoupment of funds. He also pleaded guilty to an amended charge of speeding and was fined $200 and $58.50 costs.
Doni R. Guinn, 34, 701 E. Sixth St., owed $106 on a conviction for operating a motor vehicle without a driver’s license and had that amount converted to 11 days in the Grundy County Detention Center.
