The Grundy County Commission made an appointment to the Trenton Township Board of Trustees and approved the 2010 allocation to Children’s Mercy Hospital during a meeting held Tuesday.

According to Deputy County Clerk Betty Spickard, the commission appointed Albert Trump to the Trenton Township Board. He is replacing David Trickel, who has moved from the township. In addition, the commission approved a $2,000 allocation to Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City. The money comes from the Fred Fitch Fund and is given on behalf of children in Grundy and Daviess counties.
