Joe Foster of 407 W. 11th St. filed for the second ward council seat he currently holds on Friday. His filing creates a race for the position as Rickey Mason filed earlier.
There are now candidates in the first, second and fourth wards for city council as well as candidates for the mayor’s position. No one has filed for the third ward vacancy.
Persons have until Jan. 18 to file for the April 5 city election and can do so at city hall during regular business hours.
