Robert Earl “Bob” Dillard, a 64-year-old resident of Laredo, died at his home on Saturday, Nov. 20, 2010.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2010 at the Laredo Christian Church. Burial will be in the Humphreys Cemetery.
A family visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2010 at the Lindley Funeral Home in Laredo. General visitation will be from noon to 9 p.m. on Tuesday.
Mr. Dillard was born on June 20, 1946 in Trenton, the son of Earl Elgin Dillard and Marjorie Alice Claypole. He graduated from Laredo High School in 1964. He was married on Aug. 6, 1966 in Kansas City to Theresa May, who survives of the home.
He was employed with Gulley Transportation and Bently Trucking as a truck driver. He was also a self-employed truck driver. He was a member of the Laredo Christian Church.
In addition to his wife, three daughters, Mona Loyd and her husband, Larry, of Laredo, Laura Callihan of St. Joseph and Cindy Lanoie and her husband, Bill, of Grand Prairie, TX; seven grandchildren, Craig Loyd and his fiancee, Tosha Roberts of Trenton, Kaleb Shiflett and his fiancee, Lydia Rehbein of Linneus, Kari Jobe and Chris of Jefferson City, Alaysha Pool and Darby of Olathe, KS, Harleyn Smith and
Stephanie Engle of Laredo and Megan Lanoie and Hannah Lanoie of Grand Prairie; three great-grandchildren, Haleyn Smith of Laredo, Sara Pool of Benton, IA and Fenix Pool of Olathe; an honorary sister, Jacky Mack and her husband, Wallace, of Chula; a brother-in-law, Gary May and his wife, Shirley, of Humphreys; and his dog and buddy, Spoofy.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one son-in-law, Toby Shiflett.
