The Grundy County Nursing Home Board of Directors met Monday evening, setting the filing dates for the April 5 election and hearing an audit report.

According to information provided by the board, Administrator Terry Cordray presented her report and the RCF reports to the board. In addition, the board set the filing dates for the April 5, 2011 election as Dec. 14 through Jan. 18, 2011. The terms of Don Altes and Sue Holeman (who is filling an unexpired term) will expire. Interested persons can file in the office at Sunnyview Nursing Home during regular business hours, with the business office closed on Dec. 24.
Harry Lockridge of Lockridge, Constant and Conrad, LLC was present to report on the completion of the 2009 fiscal audit. He reported no significant audit findings and said it had been an overall excellent fiscal year. Board members also discussed future culture change options for the facility.
The next meeting is scheduled for 5 p.m Monday, Dec. 20 in the conference room of the administrator’s office at Sunnyview.
