A new scam happened recently in the Trenton area where an email was sent, purportedly from the Internal Revenue Service. It states the recipient is eligible for a $500 refund since they are a credit cardholder and they are asked to provide information back by email. The Trenton area resident who received the email did not provide any information and contacted the IRS, where a spokesman said they do not contact persons with that of a request for personal information.
