The Families and Friends of the Developmentally Disabled of Grundy County, the Disabled Athletes with Grundy Support, People First and parents will be hosting a special event and Halloween Party on Saturday, Oct. 30.

FFDD will be providing transportation to the special event and party and there will be no cost involved for the event. The FFDD passenger band will leave Friendship Place Apartments at 4:30 p.m. and return at approximately 10 p.m. Those needing a ride are asked to call 359-3285. The FFDD mini-bus will also be available to pick up individuals with disabilities at their home, if necessary. Limited space is available on the mini-bus. If there is no answer, leave a message and the call will be returned.
Costumes are not required, but participants are encouraged to dress up. There will be fishing, hayrides, a hay tunnel, music, face painting, games and lots of food.
