The Grundy County Commission voted to move a certificate of deposit during its meeting on Tuesday.

According to Grundy County Clerk Kristi Urich, the commission voted to move the $17,500 CD from Citizens Bank and Trust to Farmers Bank of Northern Missouri, where it will earn 2.75 percent interest for a five-year term. The money is part of the Fred Fitch Fund, which is used to benefit children in Grundy and Daviess counties.
