Heidi Rae Dunlap Howe, a 35-year-old resident of Chillicothe, died on Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2010 at her home.

A visitation and memorial services will be held from 7 to p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 30, 2010 at the Schoene-Ruschmeier Funeral Home in Milan. Andy Woods will officiate. Cremation will follow and inurnment will be held at a later time.
Mrs. Howe was born on Aug. 23, 1975 in Ida Grove, IA, the daughter of Keith and Renee Jeckell Oxendale. She and her family moved to Missouri from Iowa in 1976. She had lived in Trenton, Milan and Chillicothe most of her life. She had worked as a nurse’s aide at nursing homes for a number of years. She enjoyed fishing, working with arts and crafts and photography.
She was married to Carson Dunlap, then was married on Sept. 22, 2008 to Wayne E. Howe Jr., who survives of the home.
She is also survived by three daughters, Katie Shipley, Jordan Dunlap and Bailey Dunlap, all of Milan; two step-sons, Brodie and Ridge Howe of Chillicothe; her mother and step-father, Renee and Ellis Shipley of Milan; her step-mother, Lori Oxendale of Green City; one sister, Heather Harding and her husband, Earl, of Trenton; one step-sister, Melonie Shipley of Milan; one step-brother, Cody Shipley of Maryville; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and nieces.
She was preceded in death by her father, Keith, on Sept. 20, 2010; her maternal grandparents, Raymond and Vivian Jeckell; and her paternal grandparents, Lawrence and Dorothy Oxendale.
Memorials are suggested to the family.
