The Missouri Department of Transportation plans to close to traffic the Route P Bridge over Big Branch in Mercer County on Monday, Oct. 4, at 7 a.m.

The bridge is located just north of Highway 136, near Princeton. The closure is weather dependent and could be delayed or rescheduled.
The bridge will be closed to all traffic until work to replace the bridge is completed. The bridge is anticipated to reopen Dec. 10. During this time, motorists must choose alternate routes. MoDOT will also close to traffic the Route E Bridge over Big Muddy Creek in Linn County on Monday, Oct. 4, at 7 a.m.
The bridge is located just east of the Grundy County Line. The closure is weather dependent and could be delayed or rescheduled.
