The Trenton Rotary Club is encouraging all businesses, organizations and individuals to participate in this year’s Missouri Day Festival Parade on Saturday, Oct. 16.

The theme of this year’s celebration is “Paving a Path to the Future.” A large number of bands are scheduled to take part in the parade and the Rotary Club, which sponsors the parade, would also like to see a large number of entries as well. Floats, antique cars or trucks and antique conveyances are especially encouraged, although any type of entry will be accepted. There is no fee to enter except for political-related entries, which will be charged a fee of $25. Trophies will be awarded in 10 categories.
Entries are being accepted at the Trenton Area Chamber of Commerce or by e-mail at [email protected]. The Rotary Club is encouraging persons to sign up electronically, if possible. Entries will be accepted until Tuesday afternoon, Oct. 12.
