The Trenton Lions Club met on Tuesday at the Lakeview Restaurant. President Bob Lewis called the meeting to order with 10 members present.

Following the pledge to the U.S. flag, Lion Doris Carter said the blessing. Lion Chad Davis presented the treasurer’s report, gave a financial summary of the North Central Missouri Fair concession stand, and read thank you cards from James Deaver, Boys State participant; Maurene Fick, Lions member; and Don Dalrymple, Arts in the Park.
During the business meeting, donations were approved to the NCM Fair for $500, Trenton Park Board for $50 and the Historical Society/New Harmonies Exhibit for $200. It was announced that Lions Doris Carter and Judy Crow would be assisting with next week’s bloodmobile and that Lions should assist with flag display at the court house on Patriots Day.
The next meeting of the Trenton Lions will be Sept. 14 at noon at Lakeview. Seth Cox will be the program chairman.
