Danny Ebersold of Trenton, a member of Bugles Across America, said trumpeters from the Trenton Brass Band as well as some members of the Trenton High School Band will be playing “Taps” at 7;46, 8:03, 8:37 and 9:03 a.m. on Saturday at two sites in Trenton – the Hy-Vee parking lot and the southwest corner of the Grundy County Courthouse. Emergency personnel from the county have been requested to place vehicles at each of the locations during this time and personnel have also asked to stand by at the sites during that time.
Bugles Across American is an organization that provides live buglers for military funeral and memorial services. For more information, persons can contact Ebersold at 635-0584.
