Nellie Mae Osborn, an 86-year-old resident of Chillicothe and former Trenton resident, died on Monday, Aug. 23, 2010 at the Baptist Home in Chillicothe.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2010 at the First Baptist Church in Trenton. Burial in Miriam Cemetery at Bethany.
Family visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon on Wednesday at the church. Open visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m. today (Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2010 at the Roberson Funeral Home in Bethany.
Mrs. Osborn was born on April 5, 1924 in Harrison County, the daughter of Charley Henry and Edith Wilson Coates. She was married on June 1, 1941 to Rev. Jean Osborn, who survives at the home.
She was the church secretary at the First Baptist Church of Fayette for several years and retired as the secretary of the North Grand River Baptist Association. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Trenton.
Survivors in addition to her husband are a daughter, Marilyn (Gary) Morrow of Marshall; a brother, Lewis Coates of Bethany; four grandchildren, Allen (Lori) Osborn of Redlands, CA, Andrew Osborn of Ft. Worth, TX, Angie (Brett) King of St. Joseph and Robin (C.J.) Ellifritt of Boonville; and three great-grandchildren, Brittany King, Alexander King and Austin Ellifritt.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, James Osborn; and daughter-in-law, Roberta Ann Osborn.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Trenton, the Baptist Home of Chillicothe andor Hedrick Medical Center Hospice.
