North Central Missouri College is working in conjunction with the Missouri Department of Mental Health and Preferred Family Healthcare to offer one of several town hall meetings formulated as a part of the Missouri Suicide Prevention Plan.

The meeting will be Tuesday, Aug. 31, at 6 p.m. in the Alexander Student Center meeting room on the college campus in downtown Trenton. During these town hall meetings, information and data will be shared regarding suicide, prevention,and state initiatives for the future. Suicide is the 10th leading cause of death in Missouri. In response to growing community recognition that suicide is preventable, collaborative planning efforts have resulted in the development and implementation of this Statewide Suicide Prevention Plan.
Members of the public are encouraged to attend.
